The magnetic field around the current carrying wire is given by

I= μ0I/2πr

Hence the field increases near the wire.

As the metal ring moves with the given velocity, the flux through the coil increases in the 'out of plane' direction. Hence the induced current produces a magnetic field 'into the plane' of paper.

Hence induced current is in clockwise direction.
