Hey !!!
sec¢ + tan¢ = x ( given ) -----1)
As we know that
sec²¢ - tan²¢ = 1
We know also a² - b² = ( a + b ) ( a - b )
since ,
( sec¢ + tan¢ ) ( sec¢ - tan¢ ) = 1
x ( sec¢ - tan¢ ) = 1 ( from given )
( sec ¢ - tan¢ ) = 1 /x -----2)
Now adding both equation 1st and 2nd
we get
sec¢ - tan¢ + sec¢ + tan¢ = 1/x + x
2sec¢ = 1 + x²/x
sec¢ = x² + 1 /2x Answer ✔
