secA=(4x2+1)/4x
we know secA=Hypotenious/Base
then H=4X2+1 AND B=4X
THEN P2=(4x2+1)2 -(4x)2
=16x4+1+8x2-16x2
=16x4+1-8x2
=(4x2-1)2
P=4x2-1
secA+tanA=H/B+P/B
so, ( 4x2+1)4x+(4x2-1)/4x
8x2/4x=2x
hence answer is 2x.
