I think question is ----> If sec2A = cosec(A — 42), where 2A is the measure of an acute angle, find the value of A.

we know concepts secx = cosec(90° - x) ---(1)

Given, sec2A = cosec(A - 42°)

cosec(90° - 2A) = cosec(A - 42°) [from (1),

90° - 2A = A - 42°

3A = 132°

A = 44°

hence, A = 44°

it seems questions have some error,

Your questions is---------> sec2A = cosec(A - 42), where 2A is the measure of an acute angle, find the value of A.

Given, sec2A = cosec(A - 42°)

cosec(90° - 2A) = cosec(A - 42°)
[ cosec(90 - x) = secx]

90° - 2A = A - 42°

3A = 132°

A = 44°

hence, A = 44°

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS
