area(y) = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} \times {a}^{2} (side = a) ....(1)\\ when \: side = 2a \\ x(new \: area) = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} \times {4a}^{2} \\ x = 4 \times \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} \times {a}^{2} \\ x = 4y \: (frm \: 1) \\ hence \: area \: will \: become \: 4 \: times \: the \: origional \: one
