Answer:

sin A = 3/4 = P/H

B = √4²-3² = √7

tanA = P/B = 3/√7 or 3√7/7 (ans)

sina=O/H

3/4= O/H

3/4= O/H=k (say)

so, O/3=k

H/4=k

so, O=3k

H=4k

Suppose that there is a right angled triangle ABC in which the opposite side is 3k and hypotenuse is 4k

So by Pythagorous theorem in triangle ABC

(H) square = (O) square) + (A) square

so, (4k) square = (3k) square+ (A) square

so 16ksquare- 9k square= A square

so A= root 7k

as tan a = O/A

SO, tan a= 3k/root 7k

so, tan a = 3/root 7

so, tan a= 3 root 7/ 7
