Ans. Tan A = 1 / √3

Step-by-step explanation:

Sin (A+B) = 1

or

Sin (A+B) = Sin 90° ...(1) [ sin 90° = 1 ]

Sin (A-B) = 1/2

or

Sin (A-B) = Sin 30° ....(2) [ sin 30° = 1/2 ]

On adding (1) and (2),

2A = 120° , A = 60°, B = 30°

Then,

Tan A = tan 60° = 1/√3 (A=60°)
