Given :-sin theta =4/5

sin theta=perpendicular [P] / hypotenuse [H] =4/5 [see diagram]

perpendicular [P] =4

hypotenuse [H] =5

B^2 =H^- P^2  [by applying Pythagorean Theorem ]

B^2 =5^2 - 4^2

B^2 =[25 - 16] =9

B^2 =√9 =3

cos theta =B/H= 3/5

cos theta = 3/5 ANS
