Given that,

Sin theta = Cos theta

Theta =π/4

Now, required value,

2Tan theta + Cos^2 theta

2Tan45°+ Cos^2 45°

2(1)+1/2

2+1/2

5/2

Hope this will help u

sin theta/ cos theta =c

tan theta =c
cos theta =sin theta/c

so 2 tan theta +cos 2 theta=2c+sin 2theta/c2
==2c3+sin 2theta
