sin theta = cos thetha
sq both side
sin^2 theta = cos ^ 2 theta
sin^ 2 theta= 1- sin^2 theta
2 sin^ 2 theta= 1
sin ^2 theta = 1/2
sin theta 1/ root 2
sin theta= sin 45°
theta= 45° ans

Given :

The given equation is :

sinθ - cosθ = 0

To find : The value of θ

Solution :

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

Here, we will use general trigonometric formulas, to solve this mathematical problem.

So,

sinθ - cosθ = 0

sinθ = cosθ

sinθ/cosθ = 1

tanθ = 1

tanθ = tan45°

Which implies,

θ = 45°

(This will be considered as the final result.)

Used formula :

  • sinθ/cosθ = tanθ

Hence, the value of θ will be 45°
