CH:- Trigonometry identities

formulas:-

 \tan(a)  =  \frac{ \sin(a) }{ \cos(a) }

 \cot(a)  =  \frac{ \cos(a) }{ \sin(a) }

 { \sin }^{2} a +  { \cos}^{2} a = 1

etc

GIVEN:-

 \sin(a)  =  \cos(a)

to find:-

value of

2 \tan(a)  - 2 \cot(a)

solñ:-

=2 tanA-2cotA

  = \frac{2 \sin(a) }{ \cos(a) }  -  \frac{2 \cos(a) }{ \sin(a) }

given that sinA=cosA

 \frac{2 \cos(a) }{ \cos(a) }  -  \frac{2 \sin(a) }{ \sin(a) }

=(2×1) - (2×1)

= 2-2
