Given sinC=15/17=opposide side/hypotenuse

Let the adjacent side be 'x'

As,(hypotenuse)²=(opposite side)²+(adjacent side)²

⇒(17)²=(15)²+(x)²

⇒x²=(17)²-(15)²

⇒x²=289-225

⇒x²=64

⇒x=√64

⇒x=8

Now,CosC=adjacent side/hypotenuse

∴CosC=8/17
