here is ur ans. a

Question :-

If sine + cose= p and

If sine + cose= p andsece+coseco = q, show that q (p2-1) = 2p

Answer :-

lhs \:

 = q(p {}^{2} - 1)

 = ( \sec \: theta \: + \csc( \: theta) ) (( \sin \: \: theta + \: cos \: theta) {}^{2} - 1)

 = (1 \div cos \: theta + 1 \div sin \: theta)( {sin}^{2} teta \: + {cos}^{2} theta \: + 2sin \: theta \: cs \: theta \: - 1)

 = (sin \: theta \: + cos \: theta \div sin \: cos \: theta) \: (2sin \: theta \: cos \: theta)

 = 2(sin \: theta \: + cos \: theta)

 = 2p

 = rhs

Hence proved.
