let sin0 - √3cos0 = 0

sin 0 = √3cos 0

tan0 -1/ tan 0 +1 =( sin0 /cos0) -1/ (sin0/cos0) +1

=> sin0 -cos0/ cos0 / sin0 +cos0/ cos0

sin0-cos0/sin0 +cos0

substituting th value of sin0,

✓3cos0 -cos0 / √3cos0 + cos0

squaring,

3cos0 + cos²0 - 2cos0√3 / 3cos0 +cos²0 + 2cos0√3

cancelling the common

terms,

we get,

-2cos0√3/ 2cos0√3 = -1
