If six persons sit in a row, what is the probability that A and B are

No of ways in which 6 persons can be seated in a row = 6!

Since A & B have to be together, consider them as single unit. Now, 5 units can be seated in a row in 5! x 2! ways as A&B can be arranged in 2! ways.

Required probability is :

(5! x 2!)/6! = 1/3
