Hlo friend.. Cutiepie Here..

Here is ur answer :

Slope of line :

 = \frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1}

slope of line passing through (2,5)& (x,3) .

y1 = 3

x1 = x

y2 = 5

x2 = 2

We have to find the value of x.

Slope of this line is 2.

2 = \frac{5 - 3}{2 - x}

(by \: \: cross \: \: multiplication)

2(2 - x) = 2

4 - 2x = 2

 - 2x = 2 - 4

 - 2x = - 2

 (- \: \: cancel \: \: out)

2x = 2

x = \frac{2}{2}

x = 1

HOPE IT HELPS YOU..

hay!!

dear user

we know that formula
 \frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1}
then put the value of given equation
 \frac{3 - 5}{x - 2}  = 2 \\ 3 - 5 = 2(x - 2) \\  - 2 = 2x - 4 \\  - 2 + 4 = 2x \\ 2 = 2x \\ x = 1
I hope it's help you
