It is simple reaction i.e.
OH- + H+ → H2O
one mole of hydroxyl ion will react with one mole of proton to produce one mole of water.
So, if solution contain 0.85 mol of OH- then it will need 0.85 H+ to neutralize all of the hydroxyl ion in order to reach equivalence.
