In seminiferous tubule we found spermetagonia which is diploid cell and by mitosis in this cell we got primary spermetocyte which is also a diploid cell and by meiosis 1 first in this cell we got 2 secondary spermetocytes which are haploid in nature . So 40 and 20 both are present in seminiferous tubules...
