If the water is warm and you provide sufficient nutrients to the tadpoles, they will grow into full frogs faster

Natural habitat for tadpoles

  • Tadpoles naturally live in shallow water bodies like wetlands, ponds, etc. The water should be slow-moving so that their eggs don't get away with it.
  • Ideally, the depth of the water body should be around 2-5cm.
  • Although they live in cold water bodies if the water is hot, it will lead to the early hatching of eggs, and tadpoles will grow into full frogs at a faster rate.
