mass of sulphur = 32 grams
therefore S₈ = 32 * 8 = 256 grams
as we all know ,
256 grams = 1 mole
now,
number of moles = given mass / molar mass
number of moles = 100 / 256
number of moles = 0.39
therefore 100 grams of S₈= 0.39 moles
