Let the total amount be x
4x/5=60
x=75
So 75 seconds are required to fill tank
1min 15 seconds
pls mark as brainliest

mathsteacher: how 75 came
indresh834: 4x/5=60
indresh834: x=60×5/4
indresh834: x=300/4

Time taken to fill 4/5 of tank = 1 minute
Time taken to fill an empty tank = x

From above
4x / 5 = 1
x = 5/4
x = 1.25 minutes
x = 1 minute + 0.25 minutes
x = 1 minute + 0.25×60 seconds
x = 1 minute 15 seconds

Time taken to fill an empty tank is 1 minute 15 seconds

mathsteacher: but answer is 1 min 15 second
indresh834: 80seconds=1min 15 second

JunaidMirza: @Indresh 80 seconds ≠ 1 min 15 seconds
