If tan A = cot B, prove that A + B=90 degrees

Answer:

tan A = cot B

cot(90-A)=cot B

90-A = B

A+B = 90

hence proved

Solution:

   tan A = cot B

 tan A = tan (90 - B)                           (cot θ = tan (90 - θ))

Comparing angles

    A = 90 - B

    A + B = 90°

                                 Hence Proved.
