If tan a = m/(m+1)
tan b = 1/(2m+1)

prove that tan(a+b) does not depend on the value of m .

When guard cells become turgid Stomata open. Guard cells absorb water (endosmosis) from surrounding cells and becomes turgid. Due to increasing turgidity, the exerted pressure stretch the outer thin walls of guard cells outwards stretching of their inner walls.
