Given: tan A = 1/3 and tan B = 1/2 tan (A + B) = tanA+tanB/ 1−tanA tanB

on substituting this values in RHS of the expression , we get

tanA+tanB÷1-tanA.tanB =

(1/3+1/2)÷(1-1/3×1/2)

(5/6)÷1-1/6

(5/6)÷(5/6)=1

tanA+tanB=1=45°

therefore , A+B =45°
