If tan alpha 5/12 then what is the value of sec alpha

Tan alpha = 5/12 (opposite/adjacent)

Hypotenuse= 13

Sec alpha = hypotenuse/adjacent

Therefore, sec alpha = 13/12

tan  \alpha  = 5 \div 12 \: then \: sec \alpha  = 13 \div 12

bcz tan=opp/hyp(5÷12)

sec=hyp/adj(13÷12/

pythogorus thrm A^2+B^2=C^2

so 5^2+12^2=13^2
