If tan θ = cot (30° + θ), find the value of θ.​

tan theta =cot(30+theta)

cot (90-theta)=cot (30+theta)

90-theta =30+theta

2 theta= 60

theta = 30 answer

  • cot(90°-θ) = cot(30°+θ)
  • 90° - 30° = 2θ
  • 2θ = 60°
