Here tan theta = P/B = 24/7

Using Pythagoras Theorem

AC² =AB²+BC²

AC²= 576 +49

AC=25

Sin theta = P/H

Cos theta = B/H

24/25+ 7/25

= 31/25

Answer:

sin theta=24/7

cos theta=7/25

Step-by-step explanation:

1)tan theta= perpendicular/base

=24/7

2) using hypotenuse formula

AC^2=AB^2+BC^2

AC^2= (24)^2+(7)^2

AC^2=576+49

AC^2=625

AC=√625

AC=25

3) Sin theta= perpendicular/hypotenuse

Sin theta=24/25

4) Cos theta=Base/Hypotenuse

Cos theta= 7/25

5) Sin theta+Cos theta

= 24/5+7/25

= 31/25
