if tan theta = a/x find the value of x / root a^2 + x^2

Trigonometry,

Let's assume @ as theta ok
Given that tan@ = a/x
Therefore, the opposite side is a and the adjacent side x
So the hypotenuse would be root(a²+x²)

so x/root(a²+x²) = adjacent side/hyoptenuse
that's, cos @ .
