You can use a rod to remove a boulder lying in your path. What class of lever will the rod act as? Is it a force multiplier or speed multiplier?? Please answer only if you know...wrong answers will be reported!

It should be class III lever because you will hold the rod at it's end, which will be the fulcrum...effort will be in the middle..and the rod will move the boulder..that is, load will be overcome at the other end.

Hence the rod will act as CLASS III LEVER, which is a speed multiplier as Effort arm is always less than load arm.
