if tan theta = cot ( 30 + theta ) , find the value of theta

Tan theta = cot (30 + theta)
i.e. tan theta = tan { 90 – (30 + theta)}                        [ Because, tan theta = cot( 90 – theta)]
i.e. tan theta = tan ( 90 – 30 –theta )
i.e. theta = 60 – theta
i.e. theta + theta = 60
i.e. 2 theta = 60
i.e. theta = 60 / 2
i.e. theta = 30°
