if tap A and tap A fills a water bed in 20 minutes and tap B tap C tap D fills the water bed in 15 minutes and tap A tap B tap C fills the water bed in 12 minutes what is least time taken to fill the water bed​

Now assume that the tank was full with water. The other tap can now empty 1/30 of the tank in a minute.

Subtracting the rate of the second tap to the rate of the first tap, I would get the amount of water filled in a minute with both taps opened, which is 1/20–1/30=1/60

To fill the tank, 1/(1/60) would give us 60, which means that the tank takes 60 minutes (1 hour) for it to be full with both taps on.
