Step-by-step explanation:

Let A age be x and B age be y

Ten year's hence : x+10, y+ 10

x+10 = 2 ( y+ 10 -10 )

x + 10 = 2( y )

x - 2y = -10 ===> eq 1

Present age :

x = 10 +y

x - y = 10 ===> eq 2

Elimination method

x - 2y = -10

x - y = 10 ( change sign and cancel x )

____________

- y = -20

y = 20

x - y = 10

x - 20 = 10

x = 10 + 20

x = 30

x = 30

A's age = 30 years

B's age = 20 years

hope it helps you
