Acceleration due to gravity =>
g = GM/(R)^2
Here,
g = 6.67 m s^-2
r = 4 × 106 m
M = ?
G = 6.67 × 10^-11
Putting values we get ,
6.67 = (6.67 × 10^-11 × M)/(4×106)^2
Cancelling 6.67 from both sides , we get -
1 = (10^-11 × M)/52576
M = (52576)/(10^-11)
M = 52576 × 10^-11
M(of planet ) = 5.2576 × 10^7 kg ( Ans. )
