............Negative.............

Work done = force x displacement x cos of angle between force and displacement

cos of more than 90 is negative..

Plz mark me as BRAINLIEST...

ashisingh24: it is zero when it is 90 degree
ashisingh24: i have read the question wrong ....i didn't saw that there has been wriiten that angle greater than 90
muvasreetham22: If the angle is greater than 90
It will be in the second quadrant,
where cos function is negative.
nrgchandra: what is your name @muvasreetham
muvasreetham22: Hi
muvasreetham22: My name is that itself
muvasreetham22: why??
nrgchandra: just for confirmation its not normal in my are are you from south india
muvasreetham22: yes

The work done will be b: negative.

What is work done?

  • Work is said to be done when a body undergoes movement due to an external force applied on it.
  • Work done is given as dot product of Force applied on body and displacement of the body.
  • Work done = F · d = F * d * cosθ, where F is the magnitude of force exerted on the body, d is the displacement of body and θ is the angle between direction of force and direction of displacement.

When angle between force and displacement is more than 90°, the work done is negative because value of cosθ is negative for θ more than 90°.
