if the angle between mirror and incident ray is 40 Degrees then find the angle of reflection

simmi9955: 50 degree
lostkiller: why
simmi9955: bcoz the angle between incedent ray and mirror is 40 degree ...so angle of incedence is 90degree-40degree=50degree
poorna24: thanks
simmi9955: ur welcome

we know that angle of incidence is equal to angle of relection.

the angle between incident ray and mirror is 40

imagining a normal to it,(90 degrees because it is perpendicular)

so angle of incidence is 90-40=50( angle between normal and incidence.)

so angle of reflection is also 50

sushmithanair1402: I'll try editing again
simmi9955: yaa ,see in coments

sushmithanair1402: I didn't understand tbh. why 90?
simmi9955: bcoz the angle between normal and incedent ray is 90
sushmithanair1402: okayyy? I'll edit. wait
sushmithanair1402: aye no .
sushmithanair1402: shouldn't angle of incidence be 50?
sushmithanair1402: I think the answer is 50.
sushmithanair1402: ah thankssss. I am so sorry I confused everything before. I basically just woke up a few mins back. so yeah XD. thanks again @simmi
