Solution

Given :-

  • The angles of a triangle are in the ratio 1:4:5

To Find :-

  • The angles of triangle

Step-by-Step-Explaination :-

Let the ratios be 1x, 4x and 5x

As we know that :-

Sum of all angles of triangle = 180°

So,

1x + 4x + 5x = 180°

10x = 180°

x = 180/10

x = 18

Thus,

The value of x is 18°

Now,

The angles are :-

1x = 1 × 18 = 18°

4x = 4 × 18 = 72°

5x = 5 × 18 = 90°

Hence Solved!

Correct Question:-

If the angles of a triangle are in the ratio 1:4:5. Find the angles.

To Find:-

  • Angles of triangle

Given:-

  • Ratio of angles = 1:4:5

Solution:-

As we know,

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \boxed{ \star \:  \:  \: { \large{ \mathfrak{sum \: of \: angles \: of \: triangle = 180 \degree}}}}

Put x in the ratio,

  • x
  • 4x
  • 5x

According to question,

 \large{  \longmapsto \tt \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: x + 4x + 5x = 180 \degree}

 \large{  \longmapsto \tt \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: 10x = 180 \degree}

 \large{  \longmapsto \tt \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: x =  \frac{180}{10}}  \\

 \large{  \longmapsto \tt \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \red{ \boxed{ \large \rm{ x = 18 \degree}}}}

Now,

  • First angle = x = 18°
  • Second angle = 4x = 72°
  • Third angle = 5x = 90°

Hence:-

  • The angles of triangle are 18°,72° and 90°
