If the angular speed of a particle in UCM is 20 pie rad/s , what is the period of UCM of the particle ?

Given :

Angular speed (ω) = 20\pi rad/sec

To Find :

The period of uniform circular motion

Solution :

We know, ω = \frac{2\pi }{T}  (where ω = angular speed; T = Time period)

or,          20\pi = \frac{2\pi }{T}

or,            T   = \frac{1}{10}

∴             T   = 0.1 sec

∴ The Time period of Uniform Circular Motion of the particle is 0.1 sec.
