πR^2 + πr^2 = πr^2

π5*5 + π12*12 = πr^2

25π + 144π = πr^2

169=r^2   ----------π pi is got canceled out

r=√169 = 13

diameter of longer circle is 2r = 2 x 13 = 26cm
