Answer:

area=108

let height be x

base=2x

area of parallelogram =base ×height

according to the question,

2x×x=108

2x²=108

x²=108/2

x²=54

x=7.34 (height)

base=2×7.34

=14.68

Given :

⬤ Area of Parallelogram is 108 cm² .

⬤ Base of Parallelogram is twice its Height .

To Find :

⬤ Base of Parallelogram .

⬤ Height of Parallelogram .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Area \: of \: Parallelogram = Base \times{Height}}\:]

Solution :

Let :

  • Height of Parallelogram be x .
  • Base of Parallelogram be 2x .

Now :

According to the Formula :-

108 = Base × Height

108 = 2x × x

108 = 2x²

108/2 = x²

54 = x²

√54 = x

7.34 = x

Therefore , The Value of x is 7.34 .

Hence ,

Height of Parallelogram = x

= 7.34

Base of Parallelogram = 2x

= 2(7.34)

= 14.68

Therefore , Height of Parallelogram is 7.34 cm and Base of Parallelogram is 14.68 cm .
