area of the rectangle= a*b=150
perimeter=2(a+b)=50
a+b=25
a=12.5+x
b=12.5-x
then
(12.5+x)(12.5-x)=150
156.25-x²=150
x²=6.25
x=2.5
a=12.5+2.5=15
b=12.5-2.5=10
perimeter=2(a+b)=50
a+b=25
a=12.5+x
b=12.5-x
then
(12.5+x)(12.5-x)=150
156.25-x²=150
x²=6.25
x=2.5
a=12.5+2.5=15
b=12.5-2.5=10

[tex]Area : LB=150 \\
perimeter: 2(l+b)=50 \\ L+B=25 \\ B=25-L
\\
L(25-L)=150 \\ 25L- L^{2}=150 \\ L ^{2} -25L+150=0 \\ (L-10)(L-15)=0
\\ L=10 and B=15 \\
or
\\ L=15 and B=10[/tex]
