the formula for area of triangle is

A= l × b. here, l is the length. and b is the breadth.
therefore,
144 = 16b
this equation gives,
b= 144 ÷ 16 = 9
therefore the breadth of the rectangle is 9m.

by then second condition in the problem,
if 1 meter requires 6 rupees then 144 meters will require x rupees
therefore,
1 ÷6 = 144÷ x
it gives,
x= 144 ÷ 6 = 24
therefore 24 people required for fencing it,

I think it is satisfactory answer .Do you?

Step-by-step explanation:

A= l × b. here, l is the length. and b is the breadth.

therefore,

144 = 16b

this equation gives,

b= 144 ÷ 16 = 9

therefore the breadth of the rectangle is 9m.

by then second condition in the problem,

if 1 meter requires 6 rupees then 144 meters will require x rupees

therefore,

1 ÷6 = 144÷ x

it gives,

x= 144 ÷ 6 = 24

therefore 24 people required for fencing it,
