area of rhombus = 1/2 d1 d2
96= 1/2 x 16 x d2
d2= 12 cm
perimeter is given by 2(d1^2 + d2^2)^1/2
2(144+256)^1/2
2(400)^1/2
2x20=40 cm

The steps are:
96= 16*diagonal 2 /2
96= 8*diagonal 2
96/8=Diagonal 2
=12
The perimeter is 48.
