Correct Question:

If the area of a square in \sf { 25{m}^{2} } ,then each side is?

Required Solution:

Given:

  • Area of square =  \sf { 25{m}^{2} }

To find:

  • Measure of side

Calculation:.

Let the measure of side be x m.

We know that,

  • Area of square =  \sf { {Side}^{2} }

According to the question:

 \sf { \longmapsto 25 =  {x}^{2} }

 \sf { \longmapsto \sqrt{25} = x }

 \sf { \longmapsto 5 = x }

Therefore,side of the square is of 5m.

We have,

Area of square = 25 m²

Let, side of it = s

∵ Area of square = side × side,

∴ s² = 25

⇒ s = √25 = √5²

⇒ s = 5 m {Answer}
