Let height be h. Given,
 \frac{1}{2} h(30 + 23) = 265 \\ h =  \frac{265 \times 2}{53}  = 10 \: cm

Answer:

height of trapezium would be 10 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

If the area of a trapezium with parallel sides of length 30 cm and 23 cm respectively is 265 sq cm

Area of a trapezium is defined as

= (1/2) ( Sum of Parallel sides ) * Height

= (1/2) ( 30 + 23) * h

= 53h/2

Area of a trapezium is  given as = 265 cm²

equating both

53h/2 = 265

=> 53h = 530

=> h = 10

height of trapezium would be 10 cm
