Answer:

HEY MATE !!

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

Step-by-step explanation:

Let breadth be 'x'

and length be 'y'

it is given that theri difference is 5

y-x=5

y=5+x----(1)

Area of rectangle=l×b

it is given that area is 84cm

84=y*x

84=5+x*x

84 - 5 =  {x}^{2}

79 =  {x}^{2}

 \sqrt{79 }  = x

8.881=x

Answer

length×breadth=84

length-breadth=5

length=5+breadth

then,

(5+breadth)×breadth=84

if we substitute 7 instead of breadth then we get LHS=RHS

So it is proved that breadth=7

then,

length-7=5

then length=12

perimeter=2(length+breadth)

               =2(7+12)

               =2(19)

               =36

Hope this answer helps
