Let r be the radius of circle and a be the side of the square.

Area of Circle = πr².

Area of Square = a².

Given, Area of Circle = Area of Square.

πr² = a²

=> a²/r² = π

=> a/r =√π

Now perimeter of square = 4a.

Circumference of circle = 2πr

Thus ratio of Perimeter of square to circle = 4a/2πr

                                                                       = 2/π(a/r)

                                                                        = 2/π * √π

                                                                         = 2/√π

                                                                          = 2: √π
