 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {a}^{2}  = 8 \sqrt{3}  \\ a =  \sqrt{32}  \\ a = 4 \sqrt{2}  \\ perimeter = 3a \\ p = 3 \times 4 \sqrt{2}  \\ p = 12 \sqrt{2}

Hi friend, Harish here.

Here is your answer:

Let the side of equilateral triangle be " a ".

Then we know that,

⇒ Area\ of\ triangle =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} a^{2}}{4}

⇒  8 \sqrt{3} =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} a^{2}}{4}

⇒  a^{2} = 8\times 4 = 32

⇒  a = \sqrt{32}  = 4 \sqrt{2}

Then ,

perimeter = 3 × a

⇒ 3 × (4√2)

⇒ 12√2 cm.

Therefore the perimeter is 12√2 cm.
