if the area of two similar triangles is 81 cm² and 49cm² and the altitude of the bigger triangle is 4.5 cm . Find out the corresponding height .

ratio of Aria's = ratio of corresponding altitude square,

then

81/49 = (4.5)²/(x)²,

9/7 = 4.5/x,

then

7/9 =x/4.5,

then

x=7/9 ×4.5,

x=7/2=3.5 cm
