If the arithmetic mean of 7,9,11,13,x and 21 is 13, find the value of x

arithmetic mean=13
n=6
Sum of total  value=61+x
 
∴        arithmetic mean= Sum of total  value/n
                                13=61+x/6
                             13*6=61+x
                               78 = 61+x
                             78-61=x
∴                      x = 17
