If the atmosphere is like a greenhouse, what parts of it function as the " glass"?

Hi.... Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the answer. Glass is used for trapping heat, similarly CO2 (main reason for global warming) also traps heat,(from the sun radiations) resulting a greenhouse effect.
